Xurros or Bunyols?

Tell me friend — are you Team Xurro or Team Bunyol?

Because with Les Falles coming up, this is an especially relevant question.

When it’s time to head out to the streets and enjoy a xocolatà — you’ll need to choose which fried snack to go with your hot chocolate.

And for me, the answer is clear.

I’m 100% Team Bunyol.

Because realistically, you can get churros anywhere.

But bunyols are a uniquely Valencian treat you can’t find anywhere else.

Fried pumpkin dough with the just right amount of sugar, dipped in thick hot chocolate …

I can’t wait!
